Contemporary, hands down! Paranormal means world building on several levels. I have found a true passion for contemporary and will write it forever. And although I do enjoy erotic, I don't see myself writing a ton of it in the future.I love books about brides! Where did you get the inspiration for the Weekday Brides series?
Years ago I read an article in the newspaper about a prince from a little country somewhere talking about taking a bride for a short time... as a joke really. And I thought, "wow, l couldn't have made that up if I'd tried." I grew up with historical romance and love the royal aspect of them. So why not reinvent that with a modern theme. Then Wife by Wednesday was born. I knew when I finished the book that Eliza had to had a story...so Married by Monday was born.Your paranormal books seem to be focused on shifters. Could you tell us what attracted you to shifters as opposed to the hyped up vampires?
Romance lovers enjoy rich heroes and beautiful heroines. And who doesn't love a Bride?
Everyone does vamps. I had the advantage of never reading a shifter story until 'after' I wrote my first werewolf story. So I was able to make it all up and not have anyone else's idea of what a 'shifter' meant.Your bio says you are a nurse. How do you find time to write?!
