In the past 10 days, I've acquired two blazers, two ebooks, and one hardcover of a book I've been waiting for.
On Labor Day, I visited my aunt's house and we decided to go to the mall. I didn't plan on spending, but I needed some new blazers for my business class and for job interviews. I got a black and hot pink blazers from JC Penney for $25 each. I was excited to get my aunt's approval especially because they were warm and a great fit! I've worn the pink one a few times already. I probably should have gotten an extra pink blazer since I would probably wear it out by wearing it every chance I get.
Next up is the book I've been waiting for. I won it in a birthday giveaway over at Reading Angel. I was so excited to see that the book was one of the possible choices if I won. When I got the notification, I didn't hesitate choosing the book I wanted. Homecoming is the last story of the anthology. Better believe I will read that first!!
Finally, I have two ebooks that I received. The first one was free on Amazon at the time of purchase (click the cover to see if it still is!). The second one was a copy that my friend loaned to me when I posted a request on Facebook to borrow a copy. I've already read the first chapter :) The writing itself is rubbing me the wrong way already, but I sure hope it gets better as I read more into it. One thing I hate more than poor editing is bad writing in and of itself.
