We were unfortunately 20 minutes late to the event, so we missed most of the question and answer portion. After that, there was a short time for raffles, and then the signing began. We were at the very back. Watching people get excited to meet her was pretty awesome. When it was finally my turn, I told her that I came to Los Angeles because I was working the next day when she was coming to San Diego. I also told her that I was glad to finally meet her, and how bummed I was when I missed her last year.
Overall, the experience was great! I miss going to book events. Hopefully I'll find it in my schedule to go to more of them soon!
