Hi everyone!
I can't believe it's already July! I thought I'd do a small review on foundation samples today! If you know me, you know I love Sephora, and I love getting samples so I can try new foundations. So far, I haven't found anything that can replace my Laura Mercier Silk Creme foundation. So, check out my review of the samples I've since accumulated!
About my skin: I have an oily face and it's really annoying. Sometimes I just get really irritated and wish it was more manageable. However, an employee at Sephora recently told me that I need to embrace it because it means my skin is actually healthy compared to dry skin individuals.
Shade: Medium #27 Apricot Beige
Review:
This foundation felt like a melting clay on my face. It felt weird to begin with, and I thought it would go away later on. However, as the day went on, the feeling of greasiness stayed and I couldn't wait to get it off my face. I wouldn't recommend this foundation.
Shade: 12-hour full coverage Light Medium #38
Review:
This is a creamy foundation and the first of its kind that I've tried. I guess I don't like creamy foundation because this one felt heavy and thick and literally like a clay on my face. I just didn't like the feel of it. I did get quite a good amount of sample so maybe I'll use it for a homemade tinted moisturizer one day.
Shade: Bisque 6W
Review:
This foundation claims to be oil-free. Wow. It gave me the opposite result. I had an absolute oily face within a couple hours. You can practically cook eggs on it! I was so disappointed with this product.
So, there you have it. What do you think? Got any suggestions for me?
